The European Parliament needs energy to power its work in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg. In order to insure that this energy is coming from renewable sources and used efficiently we want an energy audit for all EP buildings, in order to take measures for reducing the energy bill of the European Parliament (EP) and making it at least a class A building. |
- The EP buildings should have their energy performance certificate displayed.
- Air-conditioning, ventilation, lights and heating should be turned off during holidays, nights and weekends.
- Electricity consumed in the EP should be 100% green, and we should therefore change our provider accordingly
