Greens/EFA plenary session priorities 14 -17 June 2010

The highlight of the European Parliament plenary week is the debate and the vote on the EP resolution on Israeli military operation against the humanitarian flotilla and the Gaza blockade. Other priorities for the Greens/EFA will be the reports by Green Members on EU policies in favour of human rights defenders, catch documentation programme for bluefin tuna and on gender aspects of the economic downturn and financial crisis.

Greens/EFA priorities include the Stockholm Programme that covers many justice and home affairs issues including immigration and asylum. Preparation for the Copenhagen climate summit will also be a major point in the agenda.
