    Parliament leaders write to Commission over draconian draft laws on teachers & whistleblowing

    The leaders of the main political groups in the European Parliament, on the initiative of the Greens/EFA Group have co-signed a call to the Commission on the Hungarian government's law targeting teachers, and the whistleblower law, which could be used against the LGBTIQ community.

    The window is closing, but we can still stop global climate collapse

    The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) call for rapid action and drastic measures to achieve the goal of limiting global warming to below 1.5 degrees in their latest report.     Deaths at sea preventable but predictable until EU changes course

    Members of the European Parliament will debate the recent, tragic loss of life in the Mediterranean Sea. The Greens/EFA Group called for today’s debate to draw attention to the lack of sea rescue missions, and safe passage for refugees, which is contributing to the high loss of life at the EU’s borders.
