EU Parliament continues to support big Agri over small and medium farmers

Today, Members of the European Parliament approved the Commission's legislative proposal from the 15th of March to abolish, exempt or derogate from the environmental standards governing the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

EU 2040 climate target: Green/EFA push for phasing out all fossil fuels to make the EU climate neutral by 2040

The Commission presented their proposed 2040 climate target for the EU. It includes a 90 percent reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2040. The Greens/EFA Group is calling for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions reduction by the year 2040. The Commission is expected to present draft legislation at a later stage.

What they need now as they enter the labour market is to be taken seriously. Yet employers continue to minimise their worth by making them work for free.
