The Greens/EFA Group announces that MEP Tatjana ŽDANOKA has left the group

Today, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced during the opening of the plenary session in Strasbourg that Tatjana Ždanoka MEP will leave the Greens/EFA Group. 

The Greens/EFA Group stand firmly with the Ukrainian people against the aggression of Vladimir Putin. Our support to Ukraine is unwavering. After a fundamental disagreement linked to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, MEP Tatjana Ždanoka and the Greens/EFA group have agreed that she will leave the group.
