Press conference: New study "Nuclear energy in France - beyond the myth"

Room PHS0 A50, European Parliament, Brussels>Green MEPs Rebecca Harms, Marie Anne Isler Béguin and study author Mycle Schneider present findings that highlight little known implications of nuclear energy in France and dispel the myth that nuclear power is the answer to energy independence or climate protection.

Conference: Fight against gender stereotypes: a new role for women in society

>Greens/EFA Co-president Monica Frassoni hosts this conference, with guest European Commissioner for Equal Opportunities Vladimir Špidla. The Arcidonna Association will present Monica Frassoni and Vladimir Špidla with customised bicycles from their info campaign.  

Written declaration launch: Human trafficking

>MEPs including UK Green Jean Lambert will launch a written declaration on human trafficking, with the participation of UK and Irish anti-trafficking police representatives. Informal meeting: Arms brokering
