Laying tracks from east to west in the EU

Another striking example would be a journey from Berlin to Wroclaw in Poland: currently it takes 6 hours by train while it once was possible to do it in 2 hours!

To meet the defining challenges of climate change and the increase in the volume of traffic, Europe needs an extensive and modern rail network. While it is necessary to revitalise Europe's major rail lines, implementing the smaller-scale cross-border connections must also be a priority.
