Greens/EFA members to chair EU Parliament delegations to Turkey, Iran and South Asia

The last of the Greens/EFA Group's European Parliament delegation presidencies was confirmed today.

Greens/EFA Group members now hold the following posts:

President of the EP delegation for relations with Turkey: Hélène Flautre (France)
President of the EP delegation for relations with Iran: Barbara Lochbihler (Germany)
President of the EP delegation for relations with South Asia (1): Jean Lambert (UK)

Notes to editors:
(1) The delegation for relations with South Asia covers all SAARC (South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation) countries except India, i.e. Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Nepal and Pakistan.
