Global warming

Global temperatures at the end of 21st century may be significantly higher than predicted

The current climate change models are predicting a global temperature increase of as much as 5,8 degrees Celsius by the end of this century.

But the research released on 22 May by the Berkeley Lab (University of California at Berkeley) shows that those models may be off by nearly 2 degrees Celsius because they only factor in the increased greenhouse gas concentrations that result from human activities.
Since the human greenhouse gas emissions cause global warming, it alters also the earth system processes, which in turn results in additional atmospheric greenhouse gas loading and then additional warming.
