Six months after Qatargate: How has the Parliament reacted?

INTRODUCTION

Six months after the Qatargate corruption scandal in the European Parliament, the Greens/EFA Group would like to invite you for a round table of key civil society organisations and institutions working for transparency and integrity.

Greens/EFA MEPs Damien Boeselager, Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield and Daniel Freund along with external speakers will take stock of what has changed; which reforms are needed; and will the proposed reforms be enough to prevent corruption and mismanagement in the EU institutions? What reforms are the most urgent to win back the citizens’ trust in our European Democracy? What about MEPs declaring all lobby meetings, their assets? What about independent control of lobby rules via an EU Ethics Body?

We would like to invite you to join this discussion on Tuesday 6 June 9h00-10h20, in room JAN 6Q2 in the European Parliament or online via Interactio (link will be sent to registrants).
