    Terry Reintke takes the reins as Greens/EFA President

    Greens/EFA MEPs have elected Terry Reintke MEP as the new President of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament. “I am overwhelmed and delighted by the great trust that the Group has placed in me. Now it's time to get to work, the people of Europe expect European solutions from us." said Terry Reintke after her election.

    New ‘Pandemic-level’ Solidarity Fund needed in the face of pan-EU energy crisis & war

    Support Ukraine with courage, tackle energy crisis with decisiveness

    Commission President Ursula von der Leyen gave her State of the European Union address. In the annual address, she presented emergency measures in response to the energy crisis as well as expressed continued support for Ukraine.

    Greens/EFA welcomes proposal to make Catalan a working language for the European Parliament

    Last week, an agreement was reached between the Spanish and Catalan governments that the Spanish government will request the European Parliament to adopt Catalan as a working language for the plenary sessions of the European Parliament. Greens/EFA welcomes and supports this proposal.
