    ECJ Advocate General's Opinion on Oriol Junqueras

    The Advocate General of the European Court of Justice has issued the opinion that our colleague Oriol Junqueras has the right to be a Member of the European Parliament, despite the Spanish Supreme Court not letting him take up his seat after he was elected in the last European elections in May.

    EU must pressure Turkey not to deport refugees to Syria

    Today, Syrian refugees currently residing in Turkey might have to leave Istanbul Refugees residing in Turkey or face the risk of being deported back to war-torn Syria. Refugees had until today to return to the provinces in which they were first registered when arriving in the country.
