    Environment and climate

    The EU can and should increase its emissions reductions target, according to a new study by CE Delft, commiissioned by the Greens/EFA Group. Green MEPs are calling for the EU to immediately adopt a 30% domestic reductions target by 2020.

    Working time

    Today, the European Parliament's employment and social affairs committee narrowly voted in favour of a European Commission proposal to exclude self-employed drivers from working time rules in the road transport sector. The Greens are however calling for a single set of health and safety rules for professional drivers.
