    Violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo

    Greens/EFA call for an immediate end to the violence and human rights abuses in eastern DRC and stress the need for further efforts to put an end to the activity of foreign-armed groups.     EU telecoms legislation

    The European Parliament has today approved a compromise agreement on telecoms legislation that its negotiators reached with the EU Council.
