    International Romani Day

    European Parliament stands up for consumer interests

    With the Parliament giving its approval to the results of the trialogue on roaming charges, lower prices have been secured for consumers and roaming costs will soon be a thing of the past.     Countering antigypsyism in Europe

    Although EU institutions and Member States have taken a range of measures to promote the social inclusion of disadvantaged Roma in Europe, there has been no substantial improvement in the situation over the last decade.     Stalled progress shows need for greater effort at EU level
