    Greens/EFA welcomes proposal to make Catalan a working language for the European Parliament

    Last week, an agreement was reached between the Spanish and Catalan governments that the Spanish government will request the European Parliament to adopt Catalan as a working language for the plenary sessions of the European Parliament. Greens/EFA welcomes and supports this proposal.

    Gender Impact Evaluation of the Recovery, Resilience and Transformation Plan for Spain

    This study quantifies the impact of the Spanish Recovery and Resilience Facilities (RRF) funds on gender equality. This assessment indicates that the impact of the funds on gender equality will be rather moderate.     Food cannot be fuel for Europe’s aeroplanes

    The European Parliament will vote on an expanded definition of Sustainable Aviation Fuels or “SAFs”, which includes unsustainable feedstocks such as palm oil distillate and some food crops. The expanded definition is opposed by major European airlines, several Member States, and the Greens/EFA Group.
