After the 2026 summer of climate devastation: how to build the way out of the climate and social crisis – Let’s meet and discuss the future for progressive politics in Europe
On Thursday 10 September, the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament will come to Rotterdam. Join us for a networking evening at Kunstinstituut Melly (Registration below.)
We cordially invite you to a networking evening between the Members of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament and members of PRO Netherlands.
In a relaxed setting, our Members would like to get in contact with you.
Discuss with our Greens/EFA Co-President Terry Reintke, how we can together advance progressive politics in Europe against the backdrop of devastating heatwaves fuelled by climate change and rising social inequalities.

„Climate action and the fight against the far-right must be at the heart of the EU agenda. We Greens are the sole engine driving climate protection and structural change, social justice, and gender equality Europe desperately needs. From mobilizing on the streets to dismantling hate in the digital sphere, I am here to counter the far-right backlash at every turn. Let’s build a safe, sustainable, and truly inclusive Europe for everyone. A Green Europe .“
For us, Greens/EFA, social justice isn’t just an idea – it’s a plan for action. In the European Parliament, we fight every day to turn fairness into concrete change, making sure everyone can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.
Housing is not a privilege — it is a human right. The Greens/EFA in the European Parliament are fighting for a Europe where affordable, sustainablegreen, and decent housing is guaranteed for everyone.
Because of the aggregated climate crisis created by fossil fuel companies your kid’s school has to close, you can’t go to work because your baby’s daycare is closed, workers are dying from heatstroke, hospital surgeries are at 35°C for over a week. The five biggest fossil fuel companies must foot the bill.
Democracy is not an abstract idea, it shapes our daily life. It means courts that protect your rights when power is abused. It means free media that can expose corruption. It means the freedom to protest, to organise, to speak, to love, to believe, and to live without fear. The Greens/EFA will not stand by while our democracy is weakened.
