FIGHTING FOR A

 Feminist, Free & Equal Europe

THE PERSONAL IS POLITICAL

We believe that the future of Europe is feminist, free and equal. Together, we are making that a reality.

FOR EQUALITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS

We want to build a world, where we all have the right to live free from violence, and to decide for our bodies and lives.

Where women, non-binary, gender diverse people and all members of the LGBTIQ+ community truly have the freedom to be who they are.

Where access to abortion and sexual and reproductive health and rights is the same for all, no matter who you are, or where you live.

With local green, feminist and queer actors across Europe and the world, we are creating change. Join us!

WHAT WE STAND FOR

During this mandate, we have been relentlessly building a world free of gender-based violence (GBV) in all its forms, with a focus on inclusivity.

We have spearheaded reports about adding gender-based violence into the list of European crimes, led a cyberviolence report, defended resolutions on #MeToo, and fiercely campaigned for a European Commission proposal for a directive against GBV.

We continue our work on the GBV directive in the European Parliament, determined to make this an inclusive and impactful moment in feminist history.

Both in the European Parliament and with Green parties across the EU, we are strong advocates for LGBTIQ+ rights.

Through sustained legislative work and by engagement in LGBTIQ+ specific policy, actions and events, we are loud and proud in defending our rights in Brussels and across Europe.

In addition, our work on defending abortion and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is rooted in protecting bodily autonomy and fundamental rights within and beyond EU borders.

We are calling to add abortion in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and to ensure that our rights are supported and defended by the EU - both internally and externally.

To make this a reality, we work side by side with NGOs, human rights defenders, social movements and green actors for our common objectives.

Our sustained collaboration with our sibling organizations, such as The European Greens, The Young European Greens, The Green European Foundation, and the LGBTI Intergroup of the European Parliament, help us to strengthen our rights.
