    Tax evasion

    The Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament has published a report looking at the role of intermediaries (banks, accountants, lawyers) in tax evasion. The report draws on information from a database created by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists using data from the Panama Papers, Bahamas Leaks and Offshore Leaks.

    CETA

    The European Parliament’s International Trade Committee has today recommended that the European Parliament given its consent to CETA. The committee rejected an amendment from Greens/EFA MEP Heidi Hautala, calling for a five month suspension of the consent procedure.
