    European Parliament adopts EU's Environmental Action Programme to 2030

    A large majority of MEPs voted to adopt the General Union Environment Action Programme to 2030 (8th EAP). This vote took place a week after the release of the IPCC report, which concluded that any further delay in global action will miss a brief and rapidly closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all.

    Greens/EFA welcome EU unity in response to Russian war of aggression

    Role of Russian money in the EU shows urgent need to regulate & phase out golden visa & passport schemes

    MEPs will vote to call for a phase out of the sale of European passports and regulation of golden visas. Golden passport and visa schemes are citizenship and residence by investment programmes that have been used by several Member States over the last few years, including Malta, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece and Portugal.
