Draft Environment Committee report calls for 65% less greenhouse gases by 2030

The European Parliament Environment Committee's draft for a European Climate Law calls for a 65% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, going beyond the European Commission's proposal of 55%. The draft report also calls for a CO2 budget and a European Climate Council.
