Minimum incomes key to a decent life for all

The European Parliament will vote on the resolution on an adequate minimum income. The resolution follows the recommendations published by the Commission, setting out a minimum income above the poverty line. The Greens/EFA group have long called for a directive on this matter.

European Parliament adopts binding targets to increase carbon sinks

MEPs give green light for warmer homes and a cooler planet

The European Parliament has approved its position on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), negotiated by lead rapporteur Ciarán Cuffe MEP. The positive vote in Strasbourg marks a significant step towards lower energy bills for households and businesses and meeting Europe’s climate neutrality goals.
