Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield is running for the European Parliament Vice-President seat for Greens/EFA

The Greens/EFA group has selected Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield to run as their candidate for the position of Vice-President of the European Parliament. Delbos-Corfield has a long history of advocating for anti-corruption and rule of law measures, more recently as European Parliament Rapporteur for the situation in Hungary.

Greens/EFA Group demands overhaul of ethics & accountability rules to root out corruption in European Parliament

The Greens/EFA Group are proposing a series of measures to investigate and stamp out corruption and the abuse of power in the European Parliament, following the ‘Qatargate’ scandal. The scandal broke on Friday following news that Belgian authorities are investigating allegations of bribery involving the now former S&D MEP, Eva Kaili.

"Ending Russian influence in Europe starts at home, which is why we kindly urge the Parliament to immediately revoke the accreditation of Russian state-affiliated entities - like Gazprom, Rusatom, Lukoil & others - to the Parliament.” said Ska Keller and Philippe Lamberts in a letter addressed to EP President Roberta Metsola.

EFA MEPs spied with Pegasus

Greens/EFA members Diana Riba i Giner and Jordi Solé were spied on by PEGASUS, a University of Toronto report showed at least 65 Catalan pro-independence politicians, lawyers, and journalists were victims of cyber espionage using Pegasus and Candiru spyware. The surveillance also affected their staff, families and relatives.
