    Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield is running for the European Parliament Vice-President seat for Greens/EFA

    The Greens/EFA group has selected Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield to run as their candidate for the position of Vice-President of the European Parliament. Delbos-Corfield has a long history of advocating for anti-corruption and rule of law measures, more recently as European Parliament Rapporteur for the situation in Hungary.

    EU reaches agreement on closing the gender pay gap

    The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission have reached an agreement on a new EU directive on Pay transparency. The directive aims to ensure equal pay in the EU by highlighting the pay gap and giving employees more rights when it comes to pay.     The Greens-EFA welcome the award of the Sakharov Prize to the brave people of Ukraine

    The 2022 prize will be awarded to “The brave people of Ukraine” represented by their president, civil society and elected leaders*. The decision was taken unanimously by the Parliament's Conference of Presidents on 19/10/2022. The award ceremony of the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought is taking place today from 12 to 12.30.
