Violations of rule of law, democracy & fundamental rights must be met with zero tolerance

The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán will address MEPs during the plenary session in Strasbourg, to present the priorities of the Hungarian Council Presidency. The Greens/EFA Group opposed inviting the Hungarian PM to the plenary and providing him a platform to spread disinformation and undermine European unity.

Greens/EFA call for development of key strategic industries as a competitive advantage for the EU

The Greens/EFA Group welcomes the Net Zero Industry Act, which will reinforce the industrial plan of the Green Deal and create jobs in the climate-neutral industry. However, some aspects of the proposal remain questionable, such as the emphasis on CO2 storage as a mature net-zero technology for our 2030 climate commitments.
